Renata Mizrahi

Award-winning screenwriter in Brazil and Europe. In cinema, she won the Best Screenplay award at the Festival de Triunfo for the film “Amores de Chumbo”, directed by Tuca Siqueira (Amazon / Now). Author of the short film “Bodas'', which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival sideshow and won the Best Film award at the First International Festival of La Gent Gran in Barcelona 2019. She is the author of the feature film “Os Sapos” (2021), based on her namesake play and the unpublished telefilm “Maria”, directed by Iberê Carvalho, (2022). Screenwriter of the feature film “Meus 4 Maridos” (2021), directed by Fred Mayrink. On TV, she wrote the second season of “Homens São de Marte…” (GNT) and the second season of the series “Matches” (Warner). She wrote “Tem Criança na Cozinha” (Gloob), winner of the Comkids award and nominated for an Emmy Kids. Also wrote the hits “Vai que Cola” and “A Vila” ( Multishow), and the series “Minha Estupidez” (GNT), with Fernanda Torres. Won the 2020 Cabíria Festival for best children's and youth screenplay (with Renata Diniz) for “Rodante.” She was the curator of the 2021 Cabíria Festival for feature-length screenplays. In theater, she won the Shell Award for “Galápagos”, in 2014. And the Zilka Salaberry awards 2010 and 2012 for the children's “Joaquim e as Estrelas” and “Coisas que a Gente Não Vê”.
